A Roofer's Review of Disney World

Granted visiting the land of magic and fun during the summer means that you will more than likely be suffering through humidity and heat that is comparable to Hades. BUT it is all worth it in the end for the sake and joy of the children. This past week co-owner Melvin Mills and secretary Betty Woodward had the incredible opportunity to take their little grandchildren & nieces & nephews to Disney World while visiting Florida.

Getting into the park was a quick and efficient process. In fact, you get to ride a fairy boat (or a train) to enter into the park, which starts of the experience with additional fun. Once in the park, it is very clean- possibly a connotation to why it is the happiest place on earth. The workers at the park were very kind. Waiting in lines was not an issue, as those moved quickly, as well.

Betty's favorite part was the Orange float dessert she got to try! Soft serve ice cream mixed with orange soda was the perfect refreshing treat to revive any exhaustion creeping up, while out in the heat.

While there, they rode Aladdin's carpet, the Small World, the Tea Cups, and the Carousel. After being there in the heat for a little a while the kids were able to cool off in a splash park! Later they all watched and enjoyed the parade. Silas, Melvin's great nephew's, favorite ride was Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.

Overall it was great family experience. There is plenty to do for kids (and adults) of all ages. Even the youngest child, at 1 years old, was able to ride a few rides. Our recommendation is that if you do visit, stay at a resort so you can get the full experience of the park and have time to visit all different parts of the park.
